My entire family, including me, have gotten a stomach virus thing. Rolling Eyes This is really bad timing to be sick for me, I'm in the middle of midterm exams, and so are my high school siblings. Pray for us to get well soon.

what do you mean with ''33% of your grade''

and what is considered a good score?
when do you pass?

I think he means that the test counts for a third of the overall class grade.

A passing grade at my college (as well as most others) is a 60 (D).

A good score still remains at an 80 (B) or higher.

A -> 100-90
B -> 89-80
C -> 79-70
D -> 69-60
F -> >60

I have been asked by my church to be a liturgist for our blended service (the service where the choir that I'm a part of sings). As a liturgist, I'd be responsible for reading responsive texts, reading of the Word along with the pastor and performing communion. I ask for your prayers in regards to this. Being a worship leader is not something to be taken lightly.

Interesting,
in our school D means failing (35 or less)
C (between 40 and 50, so failed, but able to pull up)
B is between 50 and 60
and A is everything higher than 60.

It's pretty difficult to get all scores higher than 70 in my school.

Haha...apparently they use that scoring system in Britain too. My friend had a physics teacher in high school that had never taught in America before, but was very brilliant. He gave back the midterm tests marked with 40s, 50s, and 60s, I think the highest was a 72. ROFL
You would not believe the mass panic that happened when that class let out! Some people were literally in tears. The teacher was so confused, he just kept saying 'What is the problem? 60 is a good grade in my class!'

Prayer Requests - Page 7 Vide
PostSubject: Re: Prayer Requests   Prayer Requests - Page 7 Icon_minitime1Sat Feb 28, 2009 10:16 pm

My psychologist has started the process of pulling me off of one of my two medications. I'm going to be taking it every other day for about two weeks, then come off it all together.

Problem is, the first night I skipped, I discovered that it was that medication that i was dependent on to sleep at night. I've now been at it for about 4 days now. Two days I skipped, both of those nights I got 3 hours of sleep if I was lucky. When I was awake the day after, it seemed like I was high on something: I couldn't get focused on anything whatsoever, and the lack of sleep was not affecting me at all. Fortunately, that's the only side effect.

On my next skip night (tomorrow night), I'm going to take a couple sleeping pills to counteract my brain's dependency on the medication. If it does not work, I'm going to have to call my psychologist and see if there's another option to work with.

I want to get off both medications before Fall of 2010; the sooner the better. So prayers will be appreciated

I have a request of my own. Ever since I woke up this morning, I'm having sharp and terrible pains in my stomach area. Not sure what's wrong but I'm hoping it goes away soon. If not then maybe go to ER Sad
