There is video of the news piece done on it on a news channel.. and there is pictures of him.. yea. it was him.

It's one of those things that if there weren't the news reports, I couldn't believe it...but even with those, I still can't believe it. R.I.P. Milky.

I didn't think someone I met online 2 years ago would make such a impact on me because he died.

His parents are probably 100% oblivious to his activity here. They have no clue what "Firestream" or "Blabberboard" is. Seeing all of our positive comments here about him, and our love for the kid and the genuine sadness we are experiencing, would no doubt bring buckets of tears to their eyes. I would guess, judging from my conversations with Milky (whom I really liked, even from day one), that he wasn't a very popular kid (the newspaper articles even back that up) so his parents aren't able to see how much of an impact he had on others' lives, minus the few local friends he had.

I will, on my own accord, print out this thread as well as the one Blabberboard, cut out each post expressing our love and condolences for him and his family, and ship it to them. Nothing negative will be including as to not prolong their grieving, but I feel this is something that they could really use right now.

I am one with the internets, and am confident I can find their address in less than 10 minutes of searching, so if anyone has anything else to add expressing their thankfulness of Milky in their lives, please feel free to share. At the end of the week, I will print this thread out, individually cut out the positive comments, and ship it to them.

He was brilliant. He was the kind of genuine, honest and caring friend who few people are lucky enough to have. No one will ever replace him.

That is a phenomenal idea, David. I agree...I don't think Cassidy was as popular in "real life" as he was here...but dang, was he ever popular here. He meant a lot to so many people...not just cuz of his sense of humor, but also because he was just so nice to everyone...he got close to a lot of people who needed good friends, and he impacted everyone. He was very smart too, I think, and that was one of the reasons I really liked him--he was sharp and witty, but he never was cocky about it--he was just FUNNY. I got a real kick out of pretty much everything he said and did. He will be greatly missed, and my heart goes out to his family and the people he knew in person and all of the people he only got to speak to online.

I love you Cassidy and I'll never forget all the great conversations with you.

excellent idea, david. after a child dies, parents like to hear things from others who knew their child, so yea, i'm sure they would appreciate all comments and memories of him.

i too felt so sad, i even cried. dang... i don't even know him THAT well, just a little bit, but i did consider myself a friend of his and liked him, and offered my help and friendship to him if and when he needed it.

the only thing that bothers me, which i've mentoined to a few people, is that i see no obituary for him. why wouldn't there be one?

It didn't happen too long ago, sometimes it takes a few days for one to be written up. It took several days for my friend Jake to have one appear in the paper...so as soon as it is written, I'm sure someone will post it.

thanks bmac. where i live seems it gets in the paper almost
immediately. i just wanted to read it. read who his parents are,
