| I've just been to Belgium this weekend, so i had a few new beers that i had never heard of. One of them was 'Brasserie de Bellevaux'. Founded by a dutch couple that moved to Belgium 16 years ago. They started making beer in 2006 and allready proved to me that their beer is just delicious. http://www.brasseriedebellevaux.be/At the moment i am enjoying a Watou Tripel |

Accept NO other. Bud Light is the Limp Bizkit of beer. Dumbed-down and marketed to the idiot mass. A fashion statement more than anything else. |

- I had a Sprecher Black Bavarian last night. It was terrific!
Review: Purchased from the Sprecher Brewery giftshop in Glendale, WI. Pours a pitch black body with a thick tan head. Aroma of toffee, chocolate and roasted peat. Medium bodied this beer is a blast of roasted malt in your mouth with a touch of smokiness. Mild carbonation gives it a silky mouthfeel. Pleasant sweetness in the finish. This is what a dark lager should be. Terrific beer. A+ I remember hearing a lot about this when I lived in Illinois. I'll have to eventually get to trying some. |
