I've heard that there was an Iron_Guardian in the radio chat room the other day, and made some announcements concerning Mortification. The guy who told me about this, wont tell me who told him...

However, if someone has been imitating me in the chat room, and telling lies, or sharing secrets, I would like to know about it.


Can anyone verify or deny this happened?

Weird dude. If you find out who it was please do report it to me so that we can ban the user. It's not cool to pretend to be someone else and spread lies.

weird, I personally think he or she has the responsibility to tell that.

The announcement was just that the new album was going to be released early, from what the guy told me though.

It's no big deal on its own, but considering what else I know about the band, if I ever got back to the band that I was spreading unofficial news, it could seriously tarnish both my relations with the band and my reputation.

Just wondering if anyone else was there at the time, or if there is anyway to verify if the incident happened or not.

I'll go put the thumb screws into the person who told me, try find out some more about it.

There are radio shows 24/7,
but mainly the people are on during the special shows (like THe Gamut or Metal Pulse), if you think you are online during those, but noone else is, something's wrong

I had popped into the channel briefly last week (can't remember which day), but I specifically remember someone saying that. I can't even remember who all else was in the room or the screen name of the person who said it (it was my first time in the channel when others were there), but I specifically remember it being said and prefaced with "don't let this get around, but..."

I haven't mentioned it, because I hadn't even known that another album was in the works until then, and this thread just reminded me of the incident.

A few weeks ago that happened and he mentioned info about the release date. And as Shamax stated he said to keep it secret and not to tell anyone they told. I also forgot until you mentioned it. Now of course who it was I dont think any of us would know, because I'm sure we were under the impression it was you. I'm pretty sure this was during the Gamut on Sunday at least a few weeks ago.

Now that the chat is on this site & requires registration to the Boards, we will know whether it's you or not more specifically - we would likely notice an aberration in the username, i.e. Iron_Guardian vs IronGuardian. Hopefully that will help weed out any imposters
