I'm not God, but I'm pretty sure that the fact that you're asking for it, means you already have it.

Forgiveness is part of the equation. Repentance is the rest.

It's a good thing God doesn't barter or dangle forgiveness over our heads and make it hard to get. (more or less like Jake said)

thanks ya'll, but what I did yesterday was pretty bad. i don't want to say here, but I felt I needed an outlet to voice how ashamed i am.

Just repent and ask God conviction to don't do it again.

asking forgiveness is hard to do. when you dont feel like you deserve it.

No, grace means gift; a gift is given without having merit or obligation from the giver to the receiver, it borns from generosity and mercy of the former. Now, as I've stated, we don't deserve it, yet grace is there for anyone who wants to have access to it. As I can see, we both have different conceptions of the term, Hguols, but in the end the purpose of it doesn't change at all, whether your idea of it neither mine

Nobody deserves anything, everything is given. Even for the good that we do, it is God that helps us do it through whatever talents he's given us. Surely, I am as much as asinner as anyone here. But sinning and living in sin are different things. Sinning is really bad. Living in sin is deadly (wages of sins is death)

As for Olias, Iunno what you've done bro... But all can be forgiven if you truly repent. Depending on what you've done too. Surely if it is against the law you will have to pay for it. If it's between you and God, ask for forgiveness and don't do it again. By faith you know you were forgiven through Jesus. If you sinned both against God and men, surrender yourself to the authoritys and ask God that those who'll judge you will have mercy on you. Don't expect that all is fine if you ask for forgiveness but keep on hiding from earthly justice. Besides, those who surrender to the authority have their sentences a lot less heavy.

Hey, brother, trust me. All is forgiven as soon as you ask. And this is coming from someone who quite regularly feels lower than the sh*t Jesus scrapped off his sandal. My sin a the repeating kind, one that has a way of coming back again and again. Everytime it does, I feel like the worst person in the world. Like no one, not even God could ever feel sympathy for me. He forgives. All you have to do is ask. I tell Him everytime, I can't promise that I'll never do it again, but I can promise that I'll try my damndest, and to take pity on me. But He doesn't pity. He loves, because He IS love. And whatever your sin is, it CAN'T be so bad that He won't forgive. Just ask, and have faith.

Whether or not God forgives you.. all actions have consequences, emotional, mentally, spiritually and God will often still chastise in spite of being forgiven.. and it is often hard to forgive oneself.
