It kinda hit me what this place is like. It's like a pub where all the same people go year in and year out, bonding over the myriad of topics that are bound to come up in any metal-centric pub/club/bar (Black metal being kosher or not for our fragile ears, for example).

And they only serve O'douls. And for David, O'Dweeds.

I'm actually glad this isn't a pub. I'm painfully shy in real life. I don't make eye contact a lot, and I'm quiet unless spoken to. Online, I can stop and think about what I have to say, so this is perfect to me. The ironic part: I'm a radio DJ!
