Announcing the next Hguols release.



Hguols - Maunstraut

This is something completely different than previous Hguols releases, but is not a new direction the project is going. This release, the drums and distortion take a total break. While still MIDI sequenced, the instrument lineup is tremolo/pizzicato/bowed strings (from a Kurzweil 2K cello), Roland Gothic Bells, Campbell's Harpsichord, Timpani, Campbell's Concert Flute and Roland Choir Ahs.

This album has 12 tracks total, 4 from Epitome redone, 4 from Celestial Powers Intervened To True Supremacy redone and 4 original tracks.

Since this is more like a remix version slash tribute to my own work, there will not be a digital purchase release. Most likely, it will be a limited press CD only release. I've debated myself on making this a free download instead of a CD since a legitimate new album will be next year as well. I haven't completely decided....

This will be something to tide everyone over until the next full length is available.

I've added 3 tracks (in bold from the song list) to the media player on hguols.com. (only one of the 3 songs is added to the myspace page) If you listen to them, please let me know what you think! There are two ringtones available from this upcoming release as well, also available on the site.
