| Not really; I just couldn't think of a more clever, (or shocking) title for this, the FIRST THREAD started on our forum here! Mockery of addictions aside, please post freely on this forum with ANY questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns regarding Coriolis. I'll always do my best to answer as quickly as possible, and our good friend Sherri has agreed to help moderate as well. I especially like weird topics, controversial topics, and topics that tend to get brushed off by mainstream Christianity. (Just don't forget to follow the general board rules.) Now, I don't have all the answers on these topics, but I do love talking about the stuff, so hopefully we'll see some of that in here. And band spam. Lots, and lots of band spam. You can expect to see news in here about upcoming shows, CD/song releases, reviews, and whatever else I feel like bragging about at the time. If you are a Coriolis fan, you'll love it! And if not... I have an eternity to discover the things that make you whimper. |

| Hi, my name is Ash and I'm an opiate addict.
what a let down.. you promise band spam and you don't even post links for your music. Disappointing.
any opiate addict is too lazy to use non-clickable urls. or to search for things himself.
But seriously-
I think the url is wrong on the forum index. It doesn't link. |

| Fair enough, and thanks for looking out, my friend! I intended to have the band page linked in my signature, with a nice fancy banner and everything, but NOOOOO. It seems I need to learn the interface of this board a little better. In the meantime, suffice it to say that we're an industrial metal band in the vein of Rammstein meets Nine Inch Nails meets Stabbing Westward. You may hear our music HERE.Comments are welcome! (But the CD's already released and sent out for review all over the place, so if you point out something that sucks, all I can do is cry over what can't be changed.) |

| So, I think your vocals sound super good. You have a professional sounding voice.. and band. I just wish you would actualy do some industrial stuff. You guys should have a remix done or something and make it closer to pure industrial. I think your voice would sound great for some dance musik. How about a remix? Or you could do what I did with Opus Majestic.. and have other bands do a remix using your tracks. It's a fun thing to do, the only trick I guess is finding the bands to do it. Something I found out on that is German bands have more time to do remix's than American bands. BUt then they probbly wanted to do it since the lyrcs are in german, too. I don't know how big a factor that was/is... Lolz. Wouldn't it be cool to have your voice on a song that can get played in a klub? For signatures, use this code- just replace the ( and ) with [ and ] (url= PUT MYSPACE URL HERE)(img) PUT IMAGE URL HERE(/img)(/url)

| I'm definitely an alcoholic.
Your music is alright.
Ash? You're an opiate addict? Opiates never did much for me. |

| Hgouls anti-drug is lifting weights. Even though I joke about opiate addiction, Morphine is my favorite drug. I have been on it enough to know that. Luckily for me, I can't get addicted to any substances. |

| Yeah, I didn't have the "always include signature" box checked in my preference. It's all good now. So yeah, I am definitely planning to do some straight-up industrial/EBM remixes, probably to be given for free to anyone on our mailing list. (Oops, I mean, "fanclub.") But since the album itself was only released last month, we're still in the "promoting the CD so we have some chance of recouping the album expenses before our stuff gets repossessed" mindset. I look forward to doing it though. |

(Eh, what's the use - you'll never spell my name right.) Yes, lifting weights is my new addiction - I get quite high from it sometimes. I'm no longer chemically addicted, but definitely still an addict. |

I have an eternity to discover the things that make you whimper. Hey Coriolis! Welcome to the forums! If you like controversial topics, and topics that tend to get brushed off by mainstream Christianity, then you and will get along pretty well. I really heavily love to give my views of the views of Christianity and what I think. Also, since you did say mainstream Christianity, may I ask what your' beliefs are? I know mine aren't popular, and some would even go as far as to call me a heretic, but I can discuss them and back them up with Truth and Scripture. I personally do not drink or smoke or do drugs or anything. Although I am not one, I do agree with the straight-edge lifestyle. I have no problems with those who want to do drugs or drink or whatever though. As for music, although I do enjoy Rammstein, I'm far more into Black Metal than I am Industrial Metal. So, with that being said, not many people are interested in the same music I am, so I don't speak on it much. |

"the best defense against Christianity is too read the Bible" - Mark Twain I Truly appreciate that bro! You don't know how much that means since I highly respect you. In all honesty, it's True. I know I've had my fair shair of stupidity and apostasy and all that stuff, but one thing that always kept me in Christianity was the fact that I never read the Bible, and upon reading the Bible, I constantly and always get extremely different messages than the Catholic and Protestant churches (although both denom groups tend to have parts that I agree with as well.) At least I do know one great plus is reading the Bible did curb a lot of my hatred and my frustrations with the faith in general, since I'm now seeing what it says instead of just wondering. The only bad thing is, with the lost of the mysterious usually comes a lost of interest and attraction. |

I haven't been to C-Stone since 1998-1999 to see Antestor. (Even though I live in Illinois) Back then I didn't have this build, and I had long hair. - Kamerad Ash wrote:

Dude.. i hated so much of what I experienced in religious Christianity that I grew up around that I rebelled from all of it until I was like 21,...and then all the sudden God started convicting me with such power to read the Bible.. I could not resist Him. After awhile of that I ended up on the floor , and literally beheld the holy spirit as the dove descend upon me. To this day.. I have never experienced God so intensely as I did on that night of my rebirth. It is necessary for many of us that we experience darkness or rebel to a great extent before we can really be called to the Light. Because the greater the darkness we are in,, the brighter the Light is to us. So in this sense.. traveling to the darkness spiritually can actually be good for us. It also helps you relate to the unbeliever better. It can make one's faith deeper.
