Because when they had been posted here it was pasted from a myspace bulletin. Myspace changes all of the urls to msp links which in turn don't work on any site except myspace.

And as a bit of an update in case people are wondering what has happened to the BJR Random Player... Well, it goes something like this:

For the last few months, I have been supplying the Random Play stream, as James has been having Internet issues that have prevented him from being able to stream the content as he used to.

Well, A week and a half ago I had to abandon my attempt at airing "The Aussie Hour" as I either couldn't establish a connection to the server, and when I did, it dropped out / stalled / WinAmp would crash within a minute or so. I left the computer that I stream to BJR from off overnight for a rest, tried again the next morning to establish a connection, and once again had issues with the upstreaming of content. Once more I took the computer off-line, thinking that several months of almost 24/7 operation was taking it's toll on the computer and I should give it a rest. I also decided that I would give it a good clean out, assuming it had accumulated a fair amount of dust in that time.

Upon opening the case I found it was actually rather clean dust wise, but also made a rather shocking discovery, which offered an explanation for the more and more frequent problems I had been having for the last week or two, culminating in the abandonment of a show, and resting of the computer...

The heatsink for the Northbridge (A chip on the motherboard that interfaces between the CPU and RAM, along with other components) wasn't firmly in place, but rather had a rather loose contact with the chip. This explained the problems I have had of late... The Northbridge chip has overheated and is in the process of going belly-up

I am currently exploring other methods of firstly, getting "Aussie Hour" back up and running, and if possible getting the BJR Random Play running again. One of these solutions is actually building a Win98 Box out of parts I have here, and hoping it will be up to the job.
Should that fail, I will probably look at streaming "Aussie Hour" from my laptop, but this will mean I wont be able to provide the random stream.

To fix the computer I have been using for the last 9 months or so to stream to BJR, I need to replace the motherboard, which will cost about $130-$150 which I don't have, and wont have any time soon.

If anyone happens to have a 5yr or so old computer that is destined for the scrapheap, with a working Socket 478 motherboard in it that they would be willing to donate to a good cause... let me know . As this is old, and almost obsolete, technology, Socket 478 motherboards are rare to come across apart from the occassional one on eBay.

At this stage, my hope is to come up with a temporary solution by this weekend, that will last until such time as I can afford to implement something more permanent. If I am really lucky, my dad will upgrade his computer in the near future, and I shall inherit his old one. I'm not holding my breath however, as he has been talking about it for about a year...

Q&A

What do you mean by "Current"?
Current to me are albums/tracks that have been released between 2000 and 2010.

What do you mean by "Classic"?
Classic to me are albums/tracks that were released 1999 and before.

Eh...What about the stuff between those time periods?
Exceptional releases that fall inside the between years will be included on occasion.
