| I understand Josh! I really do! For many people, including myself, there's just something about having "the release" in your hands.... the artwork, and the presentation that a CD has. It doesn't compare to a digital release.
Despite that, I do prefer the digital advantages though. Regarding me and CDs, the cases and pamphlets last longer than the discs. I can think of at least 5 different albums I've bought multiple times because of one stupid accident/mistake that plagues the music with tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick.
No more skipping, no more "damaged songs". In a way, I feel like I HAVE the release more with the files, rather than on a fragile disc. Even the advantages over a portable CD player compared to a digital one are immense.
I know the wallpapers I have on hguols.com don't compare to an actual physical insert to a CD, but at least there is some artist visualizations for the music. ^_^ |
