| I have 4 tattoos and plan to get millions more It really depend on individual and which body part get tattooed on. For me it's the rib area that hurts a lot. My wrist and arm didn't really hurt much at all. My wrist tattoo was free and it ain't perfect lol. My favorite is the Max from Where the Wild Things Are tattoo on my arm and it cost me 75-100 dollars but I know the tattoo artist so I always get good deals. Do your research and listen to people's recommendations. |

Jim, love the "to live is christ" one, really well done.
I want to get an old school microphone with "Sounds of silence" underneath |

| So I was reading the discussion about tattoos in the Theology thread, and I started thinking, "I wonder what these guys have?" So, I figured I'd start one for those of us with tats to showcase our body art! Hopefully this will be cool, and not crash and burn. Anywho, Here's mine: The inspiration was the "Lutheran Cross" WIth the heart and rose inside the cross. The spirit (who I have dubbed Timmy) is based on the Metallica "Scary Guy" from the live Sh*t CD. It represents the two most important influences in my life, other than my family: God and metal. SO, how about yall? |

| I have one in my inner ledt arm, right under the armpit (its the beginning of my full sleeve.) And it hurt a little.....but as the tattooist went up my arm closer to my smelly pit....it began to HURT EVEN MORE! I also have one on my left calf. And it didn't hurt at all really, til the tattooist went up near the back of my kneecap....then it started to hurt. This one cost me about $190. |
