He has yet to decide on the name of his program, however he starts airing on Sunday, March 22nd at 7am EST. |

| Hi all, Thought I had better put in an appearance here, after finding the thread yesterday. Just going to confirm a few things with James, then should be able to tell you more soon. - JeffdlS wrote:

| Okay peoples, here's the latest info for you... After running through a few possible (original) show names with people... Due to popular demand the show will be called "The Aussie Hour", named after the traditional Firestream Aussie Hour. The Debut show will be this Sunday (22nd March). It will run from 10:00PM - 1AM Tasmanian Time (Initially 7:00AM - 10:00AM Eastern US Time, and from the second Sunday of April, will shift to 8:00 - 11:00AM Eastern US time due to Tasmania coming off Daylight Savings). The show will primarily be composed of Death, Doom, Goth, Thrash, and Black... Along with this will be bracket or two simply called "Something Different" of which you will need to wait to find out more about... The FS "Man of Mystery" (As I believe GD has referred to me) is allowed to keep a little something up his sleeve The playlist for the debut show will be posted this evening (Tas. time). Requests for future shows can be made through FS, a PM here, Yahoo, or in chat during a show. Unlike Dale, I don't have several thousand albums for you to chose from, but pop over to the FS Music Vault (Which I keep updated as best I can) and you can choose from what is in my collection there. Necro's Music CollectionIf bands of the main genres I will play want to send me something to play, I would be most happy to do so. I believe James has / is setting up a method of doing this. - Necromanicide |

| Further to my previous post, Just a little about what you will and will not find on my play lists.
For those who don't really know me that well, I am a person that puts a lot more weight on the lyrics of a song / album than I do the music, and especially production quality. Of course I have to enjoy the music itself, but I will often overlook some rather poor production quality in favour of some otherwise good music if I feel it has a really strong Christian approach lyrically.
Because of this, there will at times be some tracks in my playlists that don't have the best production, but that I feel stand for themselves based on their lyrics.
Also, there are a handfull of CD's in my collection which, although I may really enjoy the band / music, I will not include in my show on the basis of their lyrical approach. I have nothing against the band, it is simply that the lyrical approach doesn't doesn't meet the standards of what I am willing to play on my show.
These include: inExordium Babylon Mystery Orchestra: Axis of Evil Eluveitie Morphia
As I said, I personally enjoy the music of all these bands... It is simply because of their lyrical approach / themes that I wouldn't feel comfortable about including them in my show. And yes, I do realise two out these four bands are indeed bands with Christian member(s) in them, rather than "Christian bands" or "Christians forming a band". Please feel free to disagree with me in my reasoning, but this is just my point of view, and wont change in regard to show content. So if you wish to request something, please don't request something from these albums.
I hope you will understand this.
