We've been writing songs for the next CD.

As a band we finished a song called "Scattered (Body Parts)" last week. Great thrasher with a doomy breakdown in the middle. I also considered calling the song "Amputated Appendages", or something like that. We also have a new song called "Blood on 1000 Hills", which features a wicked riff from Robert.

I've written a few more songs in the past couple weeks as well. Some possible other song titles; "Hate", "Hook, Line & Sinker" and "Trapped!".

Just wondering, after the band goes through the writing process and such, how much "tweaking" goes on still in the studio? Have you guys ever a changed a song drastically from it's original form once you got to the studio? Or are all songs basically done by the time you record?

It is curious! these days I was wondering about new material, and I almost asked the question.

For the most part, they are done. We do make some minor adjustments. If you've ever heard some of our demo material and compare it to the album material, you can hear minor changes, additions, deletions, etc. Sometimes the engineer/producer will make suggestions for a change. When we recorded our cover of "Sin After Sin" Ysidro Garcia thought that the solo section needed a different riff, so we changed that part in the studio.
