You have until Noon EST to create your brackets and enter. For fairness, I've set it up where no entries can be brought in after the tournament begins, as it would create an unfair advantage to those who join.

Ten entries per person. Use one, or use all. Upset everybody, have the top dogs go through, have your favorite team win it all (despite the odds against them ), do whatever you want.

You will also be competing with the entire world for prizes of $10,000 and $5,000. The $10,000 prize will go to the entry who obtains the highest number of points using the following point scale:

1st round wins: 10 pts/win
2nd round wins: 20 pts/win
Sweet 16 wins: 40 pts/win
Elite 8 Wins: 80 pts/win
Final 4 Wins: 160 pts/wn
Championship Game: 320 points

Out of a scale of 1920 possible points

You must also win any necessary tiebreakers.

Second prize of $5,000 goes to the entry that gets the second highest # of points and also wins any necessary tiebreakers.

Board bragging rights and $15,000 in prizes are at stake. You can make up to 10 brackets for the prize, but you can only use one for the group competition, so pick wisely, and good luck.

Ok. 4 Participants are in. They are below as well as the team they want to win it all.

There is a 4-way tie at 20 point each at the present time. Everyone picked BYU and Villanova correctly. No one got the Notre Dame upset correct.

Only one person (myself) has their elite 8 picks still intact. Everyone else is down to 7 picks because of the ND uspet. No losses beyond that.

After Day 1 of Round 1

Mazzie: 110 Points and is the leader. Significant pick losses include Georgetown, which was a Final 4 pick,

Bryan: In second place with 100 points. Significant pick losses include Georgetown, which was an Elite 8 pick.

Matt: In third place with 90 points. No Elite 8 or Final 4 losses.

Jorge: In fourth place with 80 points. Significant pick losses include Texas, which was a Final 4 pick.

As a correction to my above post, I mentioned that only one person had their elite 8 picks still intact. I misread the bracket, and was actually referring to the Sweet 16 (which isn't perfect for anyone). I apologize for the error.

Mazzie is at 240 Points and is in first.

Matt makes a comeback from third place yesterday to tie mazzie for first at 240 points.

Bryan is in third with 220 points.

Jorge in 4th with 190 points.

Still anyone's game. Tomorrow will be 20 points/win, so everyone is still well inside striking distance.

Matt is KIA. Only one final 4 team standing (Kansas State). He lost his national champion pick.

Mazzie lost two elite 8 picks today on top of a final 4 pick yesterday.

Jorge is also KIA. Duke is the last man standing in his Final 4. He lost his national champion pick.

I lost a national championship game team and an elite 8 pick on top of another lost elite 8 pick yesterday. Still very much alive.

Irony is in the scores, which stands as follows after Day 1 of Round 2.

Matt and myself are tied at 300.

Mazzie has 280.

Jorge has 210.

Rut-Roh, Kansas was narrowly upset too.
