| Today has been exactly 3 years since I've put intoxicating chemicals into my body.
I've had a lot of promises come true.
It's only by the grace of God that I'm sober today.
There's nothing in this world bad enough that a drink, bang, hit or a bump wouldn't make worse. |

| I was just at a party on my "anniversary".
Not a "Christian" party as much, but a sober St. Patricks party.
I'm guessing 80 people were there, all having fun in recovery.
...corn beef and cabbage, fellowship.... and also, a great deal of support for myself for having 3 years, and two other people who had 6 months and 4 months without a drink or a drug!
Talk about a spiritual high that the "hangover" feels great! |
