I dislike requesting prayer because it means I have to request others to go out of their way for me in a sense. At the moment however, I really need some help.

I feel like my faith is slowly dissipating and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. I feel like when I start to ask questions, my faith starts to wane. But I feel like it is very wrong to just accept everything in life without questioning it, including Christianity. So then I start toe ignore the questions and just accept everything, but then as I read the bible or think about God, the questions start to pop up again. It seems rather unavoidable for me at the moment and I don't know what to do. All of the frustrations mount and then I seek an escape which then leads me to sin, and of course that just adds on to all of the guilt I would be feeling all ready.

Basically, as stated before, I feel like my faith is dwindling and there is nothing I can do about it. There is a lot more to all of this but I don't feel like bothering all of you with the circles that my mind seems to travel through continuously. But I feel like I am on the edge and close to losing my faith because there is a side of me that wants to leave, but I try to fight it off because I don't want to leave.

If this doesn't make any sense I am sorry, I am really tired because I can't sleep from all of this.

So I ask of you, whom I barely know, to pray for me to get through this. Thank you everyone.

Anytime man, will be praying, never feel bad for asking for prayer... I happily drop anything to pray for another brother or sister in Christ..... it is far more wiser to ask for prayer than not at all.

Not a problem at all. It's not out of our way... it's our duty, and I personally see it as a duty I am glad to be able to do.

I know how you feel, though. I myself was like that for many months, after being in an environment where my old Christian school, church, parents, and everyone else were telling me so many contradicting things about Christianity. Just remember to pray that God will give you the patience and perception to allow your questions to be answered.

No problem man! I think that we have all been there as Christians. Some of us go through it everyday. It's a spiritual battle and I experience it all the time. Your not alone man. It's hard being a Christian, just hold on to your faith and pray for strength and wisdom.
