Ok i've really liked everything BMR has signed so far, but this is abit...

meh.

listened to the 3 tracks on the myspace, and it sounded like a guitar amp just recorded for 4 minutes

I really like this band. I can totally see my self kicking back in a dark room with some candles and some incense burning while listening to a cd by this band...just totally zoning out.

Yeah, this is definitely an acquired taste that isn't for everyone.

I had the pleasure of mastering the Qi album.
3 songs totalling almost 50 minutes in length.

The clips on the myspace certainly don't do the songs justice. There's actually some good instrumentation. ...with the acoustic guitar in "Love Song for an Orca" and um.... some oriental instrument for the song Qi.

Like Mazzie, it's an acquired taste for sure - not everyone likes drone/noise.

Like Bryne Vampyr was saying, I really like this band as well, and its great atmosphere.
