| Didn't see a thread dedicated to hunting, and there ain't much sense in searching it since the sports section only has 4 topics. So here is the thread dedicated to your hunting adventures, gear, techniques, and just general hunting discussion. Post pics if you got em. I live in East Texas so we have an abundance of whitetail, coyotes, wild hogs, and varmints. The whitetail population around here doesn't get very big. It's possible to find a big one, but it's rare. Coyotes are very abundant, as are hogs. An east Texas hog hunt will usually net large numbers of pigs. With a semi auto with a high cap mag, you could take a few by yourself. I currently shoot a Mathew's Switchback LD. Bow hunting adds a completely new challenge and is very addictive. Post what you got. |

I've never been bird hunting. I'd love to give it a shot though. I've heard duck hunting is addictive. |

| Yeah, my dad hunt exclusively with bow. He thinks guns is way too easy so he likes the challenge of using bow to hunt deer, moose, turkey, and few other games.

| Hey guys, it's my first post in long time. I figured I'd put it here.
How are your seasons going? I've noticed this year that the deer patterns are extremely weird. They're just now starting to come to a feeder. I haven't killed anything yet, but I'm about to make the final push before the end of the season. There was a 160 class 18 point killed about 10 miles up the road. Very good looking deer. |

| My uncle and cousin just gave us a ton of deer meat. It's awsome, they had it made into a slimjim looking thing. Tastes great.
I haven't been hunting in years. Used to go with my dad when I was little, but it's probably been 5 years since the last time I went. |
