Hey this may seem really selfish, but I need prayer that I will be bold enough to talk to this girl at my college. I also need prayer to be bold in other areas of my life. My music, my writing, everything. Im having a hard time, and the longer Im in college, the more afraid I am. Which is really weird cuz ur supposed to be stupider and unafraid in college lol.

No need to feel selfish. Ask, and you will receive. I will stand in the gap and pray for God's strength when you go and talk to her, I ask that the Lord will prepare her heart, and remove the scales from her eyes before you speak to her of the Gospel.

It all starts with a seed. You water it, and God will help that seed to grow. In time God will choose the person to harvest it for him. We never "lead" anyone to Salvation, God does that - we witness the transformation of a person that accepts Jesus as thier Savior.

But I tell you the truth - God is changing you, as well. Like a vessel of Gold or Silver, he is removing the "dross", the impurities that he does not like, and refining you to something greater. Be bold for Jesus ! Remain meek and humble, and let his light shine in you.
You are becoming a great vessel for Jesus in Heaven.

let me just say for the record here.i wasnt bold either.and thru my friendship to a certain guitarist named blaine who posted above..his prayers worked..i pray "on the spot" with those that share a need.i greet people on the phone,at the store,bank etc with the statement "lord bless you".because of his prayers and that of his band several years ago;i will never again be timid about my faith or my jesus! it has become like second nature;something i dont even think about! it will get like that for you;trust me! especially being in the christian music ministry;i believe the lord was molding me and making me more steadfast! blaine is also right bout the scripture verse he gave you..det.31:8..i have clung to the verse and promise from god many times since blaine first read that to me.i will join him in prayer for you as well.i pray that the lord will allow you to speak his name boldly and bravely..and rem."where two or more are gathered in His name,he will be also"! so, we all read this thread you started are praying with you.god bless you now and always.sherri promotional manager/Ultimatum

Are you sure that "boldness" is what you should be praying for? If you're insecure, boldness is NOT what you need - you should pray for confidence. Boldness could help you ask out that girl, write music, cope with college, but confidence will help you with that as well as being able to cope for being shot down.... which is bound to happen because it happens to everyone.

Sometimes getting what I pray for isn't the most fun. ....like praying for patience, God will put someone or something into my life to teach it to me. Praying for confidence (or even boldness) God might send someone (or something) to put me in my place.

We all know the answers to prayer.
