| So quit bugging him about it. I bet if you were a farting grindcore man you wouldn't be pleased if people were bugging YOU to get a drummer! He's explained it plenty of times to you guys and I figured I'd just do a whole ramble of a thread just to finally get the point across. |

EM has never had a drummer period. And yes, I really wish people would stop with it. If I was able to do something about it, I would. But I still don't have one. So what should that let people know? That I am unable to find one of course. I've been doing this for 4 1/2 years now, and ever since day 1, I have had people bug me about finding a drummer. Newsflash people, finding a drummer that can play grindcore or any type of extreme metal style is NOT something you can just do. |

| Drum machines work. People just need to shut up. Some of my favorite music employs drum machines... and I am a drummer!
F***... I'm Dead is so widely accepted, yet they use inhuman drum machines. Why not other bands? |

Because they're Australian I don't mind drum machines, as long as they are programmed to do things that no human drummer can easily do. |

Their drum machines add industrial flavor to the music, thus are awesome. |

| The only bands I've heard that sound good with a drum machine are Sympathy and Summoning. |

| Munkey, you should look into depressive black metal, a lot of those bands use drum machines rather than drums, and it fits the atmosphere quite well. |

I'd say most of the time that would be true. But there are exceptions when the real drums just are terrible . . . like one demo that 4 1/2 Ton Disaster had put up |

Do you not understand what I have been saying 5 million times man? Drummers are NOT easy to find. The only person that ever wanted to join up on drums lived over 200 miles away. I have had this position open for nearly 5 years now, and that person was the only one interested. And where would I practice with a drumset? In my house in the middle of town? The cops would be over here a LOT. How would I haul a drumset to gigs? With a trailer? Don't have one, and I don't have the money to get one, plus I don't have a vehicle with a ball on the back to hook up a trailer. I'm working with what I can. Too bad if it isn't 'good' enough for anyone. I have explained this WAY TOO MANY TIMES ALREADY. I do not want anyone bringing it up again, because I have already explained this. |

| That wasn't directed toward you. I have no problem with listening to bands with drum machines (like Blut aus Nord, Judas Iscariot, Disfiguring the Goddess, ****...I'm Dead and Eternal Mystery), I was replying to Krag's rather ridiculous question. |
