Hey guys.

You may have noticed that things have been a little quiet on my end of the spectrum. I haven't talked as much, and i may have seemed down to most of you over the last few months.

God got tired of my rebellion. 3 months ago, he commanded me to step out of church, so that it would be no one else but me and Him. Now....if you heard God tell you it will be just the two of you, you would either be overwhelmed in joy or terrified. I was terrified. I had no idea what was going to happen, and was not looking forward to the future.

Over those three months, God tore me down, piece by little piece. He exposed me for who I really was. It was torturous. It was a massive time of trial and tribulation. Things had gone south for me in many areas of my life. I actually started falling to sin a lot more than usual. It was because, while God was tearing me down, I was so uncooperative and defiant with His decisions that He pretty much let Satan have free rein on me as my discipline.

Then we come to two weeks ago this Tuesday. I was sitting under biblical teaching, and I felt the Spirit move. One of my primary problems was my addiction to pornography (the only thing that has held salvation off for 3 years). When the Spirit move, it seemed like God moved wires around in my head. I used to love looking at that stuff, but when that occurred...I got sick at the thought of it. I began despising it, and as a result, I was overcome with grief (from my newly found hatred of it), that I repented of it on the spot, and God finally granted salvation to me?

If you don't believe me, take a look at my life before and after that day. I've been so consumed with a passion for Him and to find Him and learn His word that it's superseded just about everything else in my life. Prior to that, everything but Him mattered.

When I was saved, God laid on my heart to attend undergraduate seminary at Boyce College (located in Louisville, Kentucky) in the Fall of 2011. I will be majoring in Biblical and Theological Studies and double-minoring in Biblical Languages and Expository Preaching and Pastoral Leadership. There's several things I would like prayer for.

1) That my parents understand that this is something I need to do. We went down this road earlier this year, and they don't like the idea of me going into this without setting my life up first (they really don't care what God's views are).

2) To have patience and endurance in the coming trials that the Lord is going to have on me. He has delayed me that long to prepare me. I have little doubt that I'm to endure more tribulations prior to going.

3) To remain glued to the Word despite what may be going on in my life that's attempting to prevent it

4) To remain defiant of people attempting to put me down through words or violence.

5) That God will provide the means to attend and pay for college, as well a provide me a method of transportation as well as a job.

6) Most of all, to seek the Lord in every aspect of my life, and to do everything in my life for Him, and Him alone.
