Had lot of phone calls to make... but could only get in touch with one of the 4 people.

Had a great weekend and now we're starting to get all of our Christmas stuff out at home.

Let yourself question it, man. As Hatebreed would put it, 'satisfaction is the death of desire', so if you are not happy with your perception of spirituality, allow yourself to be skeptical! I think Christians often make the mistake of perceiving skepticism as a grave sin, when there is actually so much positive power in allowing ourselves to ask, 'Why? How?' I'm sure many BlabberBoarders remember me asking questions about Christianity that most would be too afraid to ask, even if they were curious/skeptical about the same thing. You might be thinking that it's blasphemous to consciously doubt Christianity, but dude, you're saved and salvation is not a flimsy thing, and besides, God already knows what's going on inside your head anyway. You may as well ask about what's troubling you. Believe me, I have received so much spiritual enlightenment and discipleship from my friends here and on Firestream. I'm no Bible scholar (I've read most of the NT at least once probably, and scattered bits of the OT, that's about it), but if you do decide to post a thread or two about what you are questioning, shoot me a PM linking me to the thread, and I'll share what little bit of wisdom I have.

Oh, and about what's on my mind. I'm feeling extremely grateful for my friends, particularly a few who I think I've built a stronger friendship with lately, one of whom is an amazing girl who I like.

Song title 'Deicide', lyrics "Kill your dog for satan"... does seem pretty cut and dry. Wait till you read the rest of the lyrics before judging though, it's quite the opposite to what you think. The song explored the evils inflicted by a religion-free society, such as the atrocities committed by Stalin.


The lyrics were actually written by a Christian.
