| I thought this would be a good way to praise something you have seen or done. Last night I saw a Christian Band give all of the money had to a secular band who's van had broken down on the way to the show.
The Christian Band also asked for fan support in terms of money donations to the Secular Band. I went over and gave the drummer all I had which was around 12 bucks. He was so greatful, he was like man thank you so much all the money the four of us had went to buy new auto parts. Thanks so much this will help us get some gas or something to eat.
I left and walking back to my car I looked up in the sky at all the stars and I suddenly got this weird warm sensation come over my body it felt like God was smiling down on me. I have to believe both what I and a few others along with the band who helped the broken down band did would be the same thing Jesus would do.
This thread is intended for feel good stories, keep it going. |

| Yeah, doing nice things for others is fun. The other day this tiny little emo kid asked me for some money, and I thought he was just bored with nothing better to do, but I thought, whatever, and gave him some. He smiles and says, 'thanks, man; guess this birthday isn't so bad after all'. It was awesome. Hahah. |

AWESOME. WIN. I have to say Allan Aguirre (yes, THAT Allan Aguirre) of Spy Glass Blue/Scaterd Few fame has gone above/beyond for me, messaging back & forth on Myspace & listening to my frustrations. He's a very down-to-earth guy, and I feel like God has probably used him in that capacity before. Praise God for people like him. |

| I found an iPhone in a WalMart bathroom - all decked out, nice case and everything about a month ago.
Back in the day (especially if I was using) I would have pawned it or traded it for my benefit.
Instead, I turned it into the customer service desk for their lost and found. I felt pretty good. |

| I had to stop and think about what I do that might be perceived as an act of kindness. As it long ago became a way of life and normal behavior to do unto others. Plus a big part of my work is customer service/satisfaction that it is just what I do.
Okay, now that I think about it. Yesterday, in the crowded cafeteria a woman left behind her purse. I sat where she had left from until she came back. Upon her return I could see the worried look turn to relief as she flashed me the million dollar smile as to say "thank you, I am relieved!!!".
I consider this to be so small that it is barely worthy of mention. But to her it was a big deal. I hope to think that everyone on this forum would have done the same.
LOL, the thought crossed my mind as I was sitting there protecting her purse that she would come back and pummel me across the head and shoulder area with her weapon...er um purse. |
