| So anyone who went to the Fair this year...what did you eat?
I went last night and I ate the following
before fair: Subway Buffalo Chicken sub
during fair: Half a funnel cake (A funnel cake is a funnel cake) Fried Alligator on a stick (good but somewhat chewy) Fried Macaroni (incredible, best thing I ate. very salty) Foot long corndog (eh, its a corn dog, been there, done that) Chocolate Ice Cream
after fair: my toilet |

Fried Oreos > Funnel Cakes By the way, I dunno if its a Florida thing, but everything is either fried, or on a stick. They have Fried Snickers, Fried Twinkies, Fried Dough....on a stick! Is florida just crazy, or are all fairs like that? lol |

| I haven't been to a close one in a while. The last one I did, I had a deep fried twinkie. Had powdered sugar and chocolate syrup on it. Very good. |

| Barf.... fried heart attacks!.... Thats not good food to me.... its all fat... eeek, our fairs/fetes have fried stuff but not that kind... more like hot fries, burgers and donuts... the rest is gourmet or rest of the world food. Fresh Lemonade Poffertjes- mini dutch pancakes with icing sugar German Style Potato pancakes... mmm Gourmet Steak Sandwich- marbled beef.... caramelised onions, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato relish.... Homemade Icecream- mars bar and tim tam( aussie biscuit) my fave. Thats.. heaven. Nothing on a stick hehehe. |
