Hey. Trying is all I ask! Bad knees are understandable though. I usually have a hard time with shin splints myself. You might want to try some knee bandages, since they give you extra support. I'm sure there are also some exercises you could do to build up the strength in your knee, so you can run a little longer. I'll have to check this out for you. I'll be praying for that knee as well though, and I hope it starts feeling better.

I've been running a little more here lately. I used to run cross country and was ok at it. I can't run for crap now!

Mikey - I have HORRIBLE Shin Splints ... I'm told they go away after a while though. I just ice them and lay off of running for a couple of days and swim instead. (I might jog in the pool or walk instead) But I feel your pain .. LITERALLY. cjoglesby - Cross country? Thats awesome! Was this in college or high school? James- LIES! You can still run! No! Bad!

I've been jogging a lot lately. I've had to lay off for the last couple days though, just because I'm so sore from playing soccer for the first time in about a year the other night.

Yeah, the important thing is to know when to rest. Our muscles need enough time to build up after a good work out. That soreness is a good thing, but rest until you're feeling well enough to jog again. I'd kick those feet up, snack healthy and drink lots of water. Its cool that you jog though- How long have you been doing so?

yeah I broke my knee in half (knee cap broke off completely) and it took me years to completely recover so that's why I can't really run that well anymore. I miss playing sports

Thats awful Mazzie! I'm truly sorry to hear that. And Jeff, I love running with my dog. Although there's no rabbits in my neighborhood theres lots of cats. He likes chasing those.
