Nice read, I'm with you, but I have already played most of them. I just try collect them. I'm working on getting a complete Time Killers. I've got 2 out of 3 pieces.

The rarest Genesis games I have that are complete are:
Phantasy Star 4
Shining in the Darkness
Rings of Power
Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Landstalker

soon to be Time Killers Very Happy

Emulators still arent the same. You get the best experience with the console. Sometimes its fun to sit there and play and pretend its like the early 90s, or late 80s and you just bought the game brand new. That way you can get an idea how cool it was when it first came out.

I have some emulators on my Wii which is really nice because its as close to the real thing as you can get. A virtual console controller works great for Genesis and SNES games, and well the Wii remote sideways works great as an NES controller.

I was looking at Rarityguide and couldnt believe how much some of those NES games are worth.

Stadium Events on NES CIB is $3905, or $7646 if its New, unopened

Yeah theres pretty much no way on earth I'd pay that much.
The most Ive ever paid was $104 for Lunar Silver Star Story and Lunar 2 Eternal Blue for the PS1

Yeah they are really good. Ive actually found my local Goodwill store to be a good source of rare games.

I once bought a game for $5 called Wing Commander Kilrathi Saga from Goodwill. I went online to find out that its worth well over $100. I was pretty stoked.
I just wanted to play the game though Smile
