| My mom is trying to follow the Weight Watcher's point program atm, (not extreeeemely strict), more as a kind of guideline, since she wants to lose some weight.
I was wondering if anyone else here ever tried (or had any experiences with it) Or tried any diets that were effective (or not effective at all) |

| My friends step dad tried Weight Watcher's for a while. He lost a ton of weight, it was crazy how well it worked for him. |

| Keep 'whites' out of your meals and you will be amazed. By whites, I mean white bread, sugar heavy foods, white pasta, and such. Carbs add to weight. Try whole wheat and multi grains. |

| If you drink soda, stop. A person drinking a soda a day, who stops and drinks water instead, will lose 30 pounds in a year.
If you drink alcohol, stop, or seriously reduce if you'd rather not stop. There are an unbelievable number of calories in alcholic drinks!! 2 beers are roughly equal to the amount of calories in a full meal, and on top of that, alcohol slows down the metabolism rate. |

| But you're like... tiny anyway, at least in the pictures I've seen. Plus, you need to get that viking look going before you start touring again. |

I was wondering if anyone else here ever tried (or had any experiences with it) Or tried any diets that were effective (or not effective at all) tell her to stop eating any red meat and drinking milk/soda....she'll shed pounds faster than a fat kid in a sauna. she will want to split what she eats so that her protein intake is much higher than her carbohydrate intake [like a 60/40 split where carbs are 40%]. Tell her to go to a gym and talk to someone that is a licensed nutritionist not a dietitian, seriously, the dietitians I have met don't know anything but numbers and how to kill people by starving them to death like weight watchers does.
