Everybody's probably aware of that Venia needs a drummer, but he/she needs to be from Finland and I think I'm the only Finn who reads this board.

I'm actually trying to start a band with kids between 14-17 in MD, but I don't think many people on here are near MD. I want to do a fusion of differnt styles, but I don't think anybody would want to do the songs like I want.

It would be nice to get another member for my ambient black drone band "Ancient Plague"

how would you do that?

you can meet other musicians then collaborate by sending music files to each other and discuss together. Internet can be a powerful tool.

most of the times it's way less good than being in a real band though

that is true, Matt. However, it may be some musicians' best option for their situation so why not?

Bleakwail is also looking for a guitarist for a small tour when the new album is out.

I'm looking for local musicians in Connecticut. Hard to find, local Christian metal musicians.

I don't know how I ever started one up in small-town Illinois.

Nothing's certain yet though and it will probably be just in Finland, unless the timing is right and a certain individual is feeling gracious towards us. It also depends very much on our guest players (drums and bass). Sad to say it, but I don't think there is a Christian drummer in all of Finland who's able to perform the new Bleakwail album, so we're pretty much at his mercy. And then we're lacking the guitarist, as I said. So don't go get all excited just yet.
