| I got this game last Sunday, and I beat it last night. I want to know who else has this game? Because I think it was just a. m. a. z. i. n. g.
[SPOILER]
One thing I dont understand is if Alex wasn't really a soldier, where did he learn to fight like that? |

| Oh, and I never beat it. I rented it, and had to take it back just as I was about to fight Curtis. |

| I drove an hour away to Hopkinsville, KY to get a copy of Silent Hill 3. That game is so hard to find, and I didn't want to wait a week to get it in the mail. It was worth the trip. |

| 20 dollars. Just the disc. About the same I'd get for it online. Though I have to consider gas. But I paid less for gas to get there than I would have for shipping. |

But yeah, my uncle bought SH2 for $15, didnt like it, and let me take it. |

| Might I add I also have the soundtrack. I got it from a friend in Japan. If the game is hard to find, I can only imagine how the soundtrack might be. |

| Silent Hill has to be one of my favorite game series of all time. Homecoming has grown to be one of my all time favorites, the boss fights were very unsettling considering the background of them.
I played Shattered Memories on the PS2 the other day and did not care for it at all. The lack of combat and overall change of the aesthetic staples of the series was quite dissapointing. |

| its a psp game gotta play on that. Playing it on a bigger system kinda exaggerates its faults. |

It was built for the Wii. Its the definitive version, but if the whole package was underwhelming on the PS2, then you probably wouldn't like that one either. |

| Lol yeah, I just couldn't get into it. Origins on the other hand pretty good, it wasn't the best, but I enjoyed it. Collecting all the alternate costumes also gave it a pretty good replay value. |

| i loved the alien ending in origins. Yeah I hated Shattered coz it COMPLETELY gutted out the mythology. They shouldn't have even called it silent hill. Seriously, rename the town, the characters and the game. Nobody would ever even make the connection to the SH franchise if it werent for the name. |

| It has a new composer. Akira is gone.
Alright...it has been a long time, and I can understand doing something for so long can make you want to move on to something else after all that time.
But...f*** no Akira Yamaoka. Sorry...I am skeptical about this game. For now, I am going to keep my expectations low that way if it IS good, I'll be pleasantly suprised. |

| I saw the new project Akira Yamaoka is working on, looks pretty good. It's called Shadows of The Damned, he's doing the music and it's being developed by Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil 4/Vanquish) and Suda 51 (No More Heroes/Killer 7). |

Silent Hill 2 and 3 are the high points of the series. Get em if you can. They're scary as hell. |

I have to say the movie kind of ruined itself on the second half with the cheesy witchburning story and "Dark Alessa", but the first half was so brilliant and beautifully filmed. The scenes with the "darkness" coming were so perfectly done that it made the movie for me. |

| I agree 2 and 3 are a great start, if you have a chance try the first one on PSone. They changed A LOT in the movie with Alessa and the town's story. It was far more sinister than a bunch of witch burning zealots. |

| Yeah the cult in the movie are pussies. When I think of the movie, I think meh. When I think of what the cult has done in relations to the game, I get chills just thinking about it. |
