It's considered to be one of the symptoms of alcoholism, but man, there's nothing better than drinking a beer alone at home, having nobody around to interrupt the inspirational act of enjoying a drink haha

This thread is following a direction I never expected. I hope an alone-drinker comes soon and could make it get back on the rails again.

Lol, I do drink some beer by myself sometimes.

I drink alone a lot. But I never get drunk alone. I really rarely get drunk.

I have a beer alone often enough, its more fun with a couple other people.... but nothing wrong with a quiet bevvie!

I enjoy alcohol alone, though I also enjoy it in groups (one of the few substances I enjoy "socially").

I drink alone at home, as I'm the only one in my family who drinks. I have a tendancy to drink too much on my own though...

I rarely drink alone, but once in a while I'll treat my self to a good beer or something.

However, I am an alcoholic. By the grace of God, I haven't had booze or any other mood/mind altering substance for over two and a half years.

I can't say if you're an alcoholic - I think only you might be able to make that call. (Denial factor aside.)

For me, it doesn't matter how often I drank, what I drank, where I drank, its what booze did for me that makes me an alcoholic. (and drugs did for me that made me an addict)

One is too many, and a thousand is never enough. I don't stop until I'm in jail, hospital, detox, state hospital (yikes!)

There was a point in my life where I would have eaten a turd if it would have had alcohol's or a certain drug's effects.

Addiction is a crazy thing. I'm glad I couldn't trade breaths of air for drinks, or I'd be dead.
